Since this is technically in Japanese, I’m allowed to use kawaii right??? I’m not even ashamed to admit it, but I frickin’ love that word, and I frickin’ love Super Junior, and, you can see where this is going^^. I’ve gotten to the point where it like physically hurts me to not make every other post on SuJu. I have a problem, you say? *blinks*

Lol, but this is really too good to pass up. So I guess you could call this the “MV” for Japanese Marry U. Holy Jebezzeus, I love it! 242390432X better then the real Marry U MV. I have such as thing for music videos that show artists in the recording studio, and homg, Korean boys IN BEANIES AND GLASSES in the recording studio just makes it a billion times better!

Based on like the two and a half English words in the vid, I’m guessing that SJ-M recorded this in China, while the rest of the guys did it in Korea (Kibum is MIA though : (((( hope he’s okay…). Anyways, Eunhyuk looks like a newsie (dear god, please tell me there’s someone old enough that gets the reference T___T sometimes I feel like a dinosaur in Kpop fandom) and his Japanese rap is super cute ♥. And of course Sungmin is just laying on cuteness; lol, did you catch his eye flutter at the camera at like 0:28? Laying it on thick there o__O.

Arrarg, lately I’ve been so stuck on Donghae, like I found him cute before, but IDK what it is, but suddenly, I’m like so not immune to his charm anymore. That vacuous, spacey thing he has going on is like ridiculous smexy all of a sudden. WHAT IS SM FEEDING THESE BOYS THAT MAKES THEM HOTTER BY THE SECOND??? I like seriously can’t handle it anymore. ♥♥.

Also, like I said, I never really liked this song in Korean, but of the performances I’ve watched, my favorite part has always been how Ryeowook sings the last line. He’s my favorite singer in SuJu for a reason, I just heart his voice so hard. I love how passionate he looked while recording, and that smile after he was done?!?! *melt’s into a puddle*

Leaked right? Oh well, it’s a time honored tradition in the music biz, and who am I to break the legacy???

Seriously fantastic XDDDD.  Better then Eat You Up, and I frickin’ love that song! My leg was bopping crazily the whole time like it was on speed or something^^. Because I am so out of the loop on American music, I have no idea who Sean Garrett is. Okay, google is telling me that he’s some relatively famous producer and wannabe singer/rapper. Hey, if it’s good enough for Chris Brown, it’s good enough for me.

So BoA is doing the whole Britney thing with the synthesizer and electronic sound. That’s fine, she sounds great so whatever. I’m honest-to-god excited for her album now. Am I still cynical about her chances in America? Yes, but that doesn’t stop me from enjoying her music. Honestly, if people like Katy Perry (who I love, but good god, girl cannot sing;;;;) can make it big, there’s no reason BoA can’t.

Oh wait, except for the part where she’s Asian, has a fob accent, is Asian, doesn’t dress like a hooker, and did I mention Asian?

First off, I have to say that the Korean version is one of my least favorite SuJu songs. IDK why, but everything about it– from the lyrics to the pacing to their outfits when they perform this just doesn’t work for me. Compound that with how much their previous Japanese releases have sucked, you can understand why I really didn’t have high hopes for this….

That being said, I was definitely pleasantly surprised^^. Thank god for no English rap! Um, IDK, while this still isn’t one of my faves, I find it less uncomfortably saccharine in Japanese versus Korean.

In case you need a reminder of the Korean

Leehom Wang and Joanna Wang. No Relation except Cpop awesomeness!

Okay, thanks to everyone who filled out my poll! I was so pleasantly surprised to find out that people do actually like Chinese music, and want to find out more about it. Yea!!! People liking what I like is such a goal in life. Lol, but really, I’ll try my best to post more on Cpop in the future (although the comeback of a certain 13 membered boyband might throw a wrench in that plan~~~~). The problem is that Cpop doesn’t really have a Hallyu equivalent, so sometimes it’s a bit hard for international fans, especially those like me who are illiterate at Chinese, to find the goods. I feel like Kpop is easier to get into even if you don’t speak the language because so much of it is subbed, and via soompi or popseoul or whatever, it’s pretty easy to discern what you’re “supposed” to listen to and watch.

Anyways, I have to say my favorite singers in Chinese are not idols, and with few exceptions, I just like listening to their music and pay very little attention to their day-to-day activities. It’s a lot harder to keep up on Cpop artists because there isn’t a central site to get news and updates, and I really don’t have it in me to google and youtube 50 artists a day. Plus, my knowledge of Cpop is still relatively narrow, so there’s definitely a lot more music out there I need to discover. Usually when I post on Chinese artists, I’m just finding out about them too. Nevertheless, I shall try my hardest to bring more Chinese love to this site, and to be honest, so many people do the Korean thing already, and most of them do it better then me, that I really don’t have much to offer on that front. Still, I started this blog for Korean spazzing, so that will forever be an integral part of this blog T___T.

Below the cut are some sites and general tips on finding Chinese music. It’s all mostly in English since if I could read Chinese, none of this would be an issue. Also, my tastes tend to lean towards Mandarin, Taiwanese pop, so lots of bias there too. I’ll sticky this for a while in case this is helpful for anyone.

You know how I said I’m gonna start spamming you with Super Junior even if it’s completely trivial shit that normal, non fangirl, non obsessed people wouldn’t think twice about? Well, I wasn’t frickin’ kidding ;___;

Here are two very LQ photos of their dance practice with some foreign choreographer. To be honest, I can’t even distinguish half their faces but I don’t care. I’m like so SuJu deprived that at this point, if I find out one of them has a cold or something, I’ll likely end up posting about it.

Okay, gotta pace myself… the insanity is just starting, and I don’t wanna frontload it too much, and scare people away. Although, at this point, it’s not like I can really hide it at all…..
