Forget Jaeho or Kangteuk. Pshal, Koreans are weak sauce compared to these two. I have no clue what this show is, but basically the two of them go to restaruants to taste food, and just generally act married… and weird. Very, very weird.

The first restaruant they go to has a hospital theme. IDEK how that sounds appitizing at all but whatever. Jing Lun pretends to be sick or something, so that the cute nurses/waitresses will feed him. ROTFL, first the nurse-waitress brings out a bunch of drinks in test tubes, and Derrick is unbelievably excitd to try it, but Jing Lun is like, “I don’t drink.” Derrick is undeterred, and proceeds to down a bunch of them. I wish I could say his subsequent strange behavior is due to the alcohol, but he acts kinda weird all the time, so I really don’t think the booze. Next, the nurse brings out some tea that’s packaged like an IV, but Jing Lun’s like, “I don’t drink tea either.” Lololol, so of course Derrick steps up, and has the nurse directly squirt the tea in his mouth.

The move on to trying the food, and Derrick is like so eager to try everything, but Jing Lun refuses to eat anything spicy. Seriously, these two are so married– like Derrick kept trying to feed Jing Lun, but Jing Lun was more interested in the nurse-waitresses doing it instead. Rotfl ; )))))

Next the move on to a Korean BBQ restaruant, and more random lulz ensues. Derrick is like so over the top excited about everything, and Jing Lun is so placid. They learn the proper way to grill beef, and in the process, say more weird stuff.

IDEK, but I dare you to watch the clip and not find them completely squishable too. ♥♥

Oh my gosh! It’s Christmas! Merry Christmas everyone!

Sadly, SHINee didn’t make it to the live recording yesterday, but they did record another epi, so all is not lost : ).

Anyways, I’m sure people are sick of my constant Leehom spam, but it’s been so long since he’s put out an album, just let me bask in the glow for a while~.

Actually, I wouldn’t have even bothered to link to this if it wasn’t because another of my Cpop loves, Derrick Hoh, was on the epi as well. If you haven’t heard of him yet, you will, cuz this guy’s just awesome beyond words ♥. I think Xiao Zhu really likes him cuz he’s been on BFB countless times already. Anyways, him and three other guys cover some Leehom songs, then show a little misc. talent to make Leehom’s “xin tiao” or something like that.

Derrick’s up first, and he sings a “Hua Tian Cuo”/”Gai Shi Ying Xiong” medley. As I noted earlier, people love to cover Leehom, but most take on his ballads. I’m really glad Derrick decided to tackle chinked-out, cuz so few people do it. Seriously, he did a great job, and I think Leehom was really impressed as well. For the second part, Derrick does a beatbox/Leehom ballad medley that’s really kewl as well. You should just watch the clip cuz I dunno how to explain it = ).

The second guy that performed is Quincy Chen, who I have not heard of before, but I’m definitely gonna check him out now. He performs “Kiss Goodbye” which yes, is overdone, but I liked that he added his own style to the song. Then, and I think this was my favorite part of the whole show, he composed a really upbeat song that incorporated “xin tiao” and I thought is was way awesome^^. Xiao Zhu thought it sounded like some toothpaste jingle, so he and XiaoGui acted out a little bit of that. I like can’t explain things, but it was really cute XDDD.

The other two guys are a host from a GTV show, and one of the singers of some band called 2moro. Eh, they were okay, but I wasn’t really digging it. I did lol when that 2moro guy gave a lecture on the hearts of different animals for his misc talent.

A/N I’m sorry, but the Leehom posts will probably continue as long as he’s promoting, and when Fahrenheit starts promotions, they’ll probably monopolize this blog as well. What can I say, when I love, I love hard lol.

I found this guy through his appearance on bai fen bai today. Unfortunately, there’s not a lot of English info about him on the internets, however, here’s the basics: he’s from Singapore, he’s 23, his claim-to-fame is some Asian American Idol spinoff, and his debut album, Unclassified, was released in July. Check out his official youtube account, where he keeps fans updated with video blogs and new releases.

Ok, so Taiwan has more then its fair share of young, cute, male solo artists with decent composing skills and above average voices. To be honest, I decided to check out Derrick’s music because he’s really cute and yeah… that’s about it. But, after I listened to his album, I was pleasantly surprised. I mean, if you’re expecting the next Jay Chou or something, you’re probably gonna be disappointed. However, his album had quite a few catchy dance tracks and Derrick raps, which… I didn’t expect. My point is that most of the boy-next-door artists coming out of Cpop right now play it safe with very a few cute, upbeat songs jammed between generic, sappy ballads but Derrick kinda sorta deviates from that a little. His album actually has some variety, and some of his songs, such as the title track Wu Fa Gui Lei, are actually pretty sexy. Unexpected, but fabulous T____T. If nothing else, check out his Miduhyo (Chinese Version) cover, just because.

Unclassified is full of easy-to-listen-to, catchy pop songs and it’s a strong debut album. I can’t promise I’ll give him as much fangirl attention as some other Cpop artists, but I’ll definitely listen to his album again. It seems like he’s just starting to promote right now, and already has a small, buy loyal fanbase. I hope he continues to gain popularity, because he definitely deserves lots of love ♥.
