When have I ever not loved something SM has done?
Usually, it takes me a while to warm up to new groups, but I really like them already. Maybe it’s cuz they’re not doing the whole electronic holey leggings neon colors thing that everyone seems to be all about right now. But really, I like that they seem to be doing a more mature thing as compared with SNSD. And so bendy~
Although I’m not to crazy about more Kpop invading China (two of the members are Chinese you do the math), SM does need a bit more estrogen to balance out the testosterone. Plus, I giggle at the thought of SHINee being someone’s “sunbaenim” ^__^
So now that SM has a new shiny toy to play with, where does that leave SNSD? I heard awhile back about them preparing for “international activities.” Uh, does that mean Japan? or was that bit of news just glibness.
Either way, SM really can’t seem to stand to be out of the Kpop scene for too long. I foresee them being successful cuz duh– SM, however, I doubt they’ll be be buzzed as much as 2NE1. I don’t know if this is a great time for them to be debuting with the overload of girl groups and SM’s issues, but maybe they’re exactly what they needs right now to get some positive press.
Whatever. I’m just excited that one of them is a Chinese American (represent!) and one of them is older than me.
A/n Random real life crap– I’ve started school again and it’s gonna be my last year (omg where has the time gone???) so I really need to crack the whip and get everything I can out of it. Um, fandom is an important part and it helps with my sanity so no way am I leaving (even though I convince myself I’ve lost interest in Kpop at least 10 times a year), but my blog might get a little neglected. It’s already sort of neglected now so there probably won’t be a big difference, but you know what I mean.
