Okay.

This video is bit wtfery. On the one hand, I love the song, and the military outfits, and omg legs^^. All of them, especially Sunny, Tae, and Sooyoung look gorgeous and so mature, so that’s definitely a plus. On the other hand, parts of this video look a bit amateur and girls gone wild tbth. The whole thing just lacks coherency. Idg why they’re talking about genies while wearing military outfits while clubbing then jumping out of cakes, etc., etc.

I however do get that that I’m a girl, and therefore took the time to think about these things. I’m sure their core audience won’t get much thinking done past LEGS!!! and BOOBS!!! so it’s all good XDD.

A/n A bit off topic, but sooooo excited for MuBank tonight!! Boy’s Generation? I’m so there^^

A/n pt. 2 I was too lazy to make a post on it, but LaLaLa was epic!!!! I actually really liked that show before, and was ttly laksdfjjlkds when I heard SJ/SNSD were gonna be on T__T. Both groups rocked it, but imo SNSD did an especially wonderful job ♥. Their “Sorry Sorry” was one of my favorite covers of the song, and I’m glad they were able to showoff their very underrated singing talent.

Yes full song!

Not as instantly infectious as “Gee,” but the chorus is still very catchy. The song is a more throwback SM sound, which makes sense considering the composer guy did like all of DBSK’s SMP stuff~~. There’s a lot of random crap going on in the backgroud that’s kinda distracting, but other than that, it’s pretty good. More mature for sure, so kudos to them!

Anyways, I’d give it a few listens before you judge. Like most Kpop songs, it takes a while to get acquinted.

Okay, I didn’t realize how excited I was for their comeback until I watched this, but I’m pretty flippin’ excited XDDDDD!!!!!!

The teaser didn’t pull me in as instantly as “Gee” did, but I’m sure once the full song and and mv get released I’ll become totally obsessed w/ it^^

I like how quirky it is even if the lighting is giving off all sorts of soft core porn vibes o__O Uh, hopefully SNSD will go with a sexier image this time around. I kinda just wanna see something different from them!!

Ekk, week until comeback!! Can’t wait!!

 

SMtown Pimps Korea

Things I learned about Korea:

• DBSK will throw leaves on me as I walk down the street.
• Mannequins in storefronts will magically come to life as pretty Asian popstars.
• My visit will be filmed and lighted by Super Junior.
• SM = Seoul

Well I’m sold. Brb, going to Korea.

Okay, but really, I loled @ Korea pulling out their best and brightest for this commerical. I mean, for a western audience, it doesn’t matter if they use three of the top groups in Kpop atm, or the bulgogi deliverly boy across from the SM building. It’s not like anyone’s gonna know the difference o__O.
