Admittedly, I’ve never been a huge Trax fan, it they put out some new music, that will definitely change.

The song is called “Fate” and I think it’s part of the OST for Swallow in the Sun. I love it! Seeing people play drums and bass instead of butt shaking and running around on Inki is pretty odd, but refreshing.

Hopefully they do more stuff in the near future. I think I’d trade a SHINee or SNSD comeback for a Trax one this winter, but for the moment——

Heechul and Jungmo…. Oh Yes Please

*Sigh* Am I not the most predictable blogger in the history of ever? I was gonna let this go, but I have no self control, so here you go. Uh, is the link even necessary?

I think I’m just naive, but I was surprised at how many people were like, “ewwww.” I thought Kpop fangirls were all about the coupling and boy love and that everyone would just be ecstatic that Heechul took it to the next level. I guess there’s still some uncomfortableness there.

Whatever, I loved it (obviously), but I have to say I was a little shocked it happened. I mean, it’s Korea. It’s an idol band from Korea. It’s a SM idol band from Korea, whose last concept was pajamas. Maybe I don’t give these guys enough credit, or maybe I just don’t give Heechul enough credit for actually having the cajones to do something like this.

Personally, I thought it was really fun, but not that big of a deal. However, knowing how the fan and Internet culture is there, I definitely tip my hat to him.

Oh, and yeah, Heechul could have definitely done worse then Jungmo. That boy is fine to the max T___T.

 

Why Loving Boybands is Hard Work

So I know it may be heresy to say this, but I think I’ve reached a saturation point in boyband love. This isn’t a “I’m losing interest” thing but more of a “I’m tired and I just can’t keep up” thing. This may sound stupid, but liking a boyband is a lot of hard work. I mean, it’s no gulag, but nevertheless, hours upon hours of mindless internet stalking surfing takes it’s toll *whine*. First of all, there’s the need to figure out who’s who. I dunno about you, but I can’t sufficiently enjoy a boyband until after I’ve at least gotten to know all their names and approximate ages (The age thing is a must; especially knowing exactly how young the youngest one is~). While this task may sound easy, it’s not. Not even close because there are always many group members, who always travel in packs, while often wearing the same clothes. That makes it difficult to tell them apart (Ihavetroublewithfacesdon’tmakefunofmeokay?!?!). Then, once you finally can semi match names to faces, all of them proceed to chage their hair styles and so it’s like, “crap!!! have to start all over again!!!”

 

Kpop Debut Performances (SM Version)

More Kpop, or more specifically, SM (only the current roster~ I’d die from Kpop overload if I tried to do every SM debut ever). I do actually, occasionally, really listen to other Kpop, but this post is already gonna be essay length so I’ll do the other people another day ; ))). Actually, I’d love one for Cpop as well, but they don’t have organized music stages so I guess I can’t ///. Confession: I’ve actually never seen most of these (okay, none except the SJ and ZLY ones *uber fail*), so it’ll be fun to compare then and now. Since the Korean broadcasting companies had their youtube inquisition, a lot of older videos have been removed so we’ll see how successful I am at tracking stuff down~. Um, I’ll do it by order of debut I guess.
